Lottery ticket prices

Has there been an alteration to the price of State Lottery tickets?

I was of the impression that it was a mandated price of 80baht, today I was unable to purchase at less than 100 baht per ticket and even then the sellers wanted me to purchase series of same number tickets in groupings of anywhere from 2-10.

In Pattaya can receive winnings from many sellers down Pattaya Tai....minus 2 percent tax in winning tickets.....used to be 3 percent but now ONLY 2.....

I think they are cranking it up again. The wifey has just come back from the market , she uses the same lottery vendor every week , she buys the numbers of our vehicle .  This week the thieving bar steward wanted 120 baht for a single ticket.

So she found a new vendor.

The last time I bought lottery tickets my wife spotted some tickets with the last four numbers of the car we were driving. The tickets were stapled together in a bunch of five so it cost me 500 baht.

It seems if they are stapled and feature an attached number as was mentioned in the corner between 2 and 10 they will cost 100 baht per ticket.

So if the batch of tickets I purchased had come good I would win five times the six million baht first prize.

My wife tells me that it costs 100 baht per ticket because you will win more money, I tell her I don’t believe that logic and that the price should be 80 baht as Prayut stated many moons ago.

I do notice sometimes that some sellers have made a handwritten sign offering tickets for 80 baht so my belief is the true price is still 80 baht and should be.

So ask before you buy and anyway the investment is crap, for 500 baht I could buy into three lotteries in Australia online and possibly win up to $80 million.

THE tickets have 80 baht printed on them ...so this is what the PRICE should be....

If the amount of time spent on working out the winning numbers on her phone was a guide to how much she would win, then My Thai wife would be a millionaire in £/$ by now.

no one can work it out if we could we would all be 6 millionaires by now.

It is a game of CHANCE....like a casinos roulette wheel/other means of gambling.....
