Getting your CBD permit in Thailand.

If you have the permit, does it allow you to grow six plants as well?

No these are different permits.

And I very much doubt a foreigner can get a permit to grow.

No... The permit will cost you 500 baht, and you get it that same day. If you live in BKK, then I can give you my doctor's cell #.

Unless you are under a license like me, to grow 5,000 plants...

So there is a doctor's visit as well. They don't just take your word for it?

Has anyone got a link to what you can actually purchase after obtaining a permit, and where you can buy it?

I am happy they are starting to issue permits here in Chiang Mai. Once you have one, where do you go in Chiang Mai to purchase your CBD?

And it might even not be that easy to grow medical cannabis, as it might require specialist knowledge.

I just read in today's news from my home country – where medical cannabis growing, and production, has been legalized – that they are short of staff with enough knowledge to grow the cannabis, and now begin a special gartner-education for medical cannabis. The article in Danish is here, and it can probably be google-translated to understandable English language, should anyone be interested.

Thanks for posting.

So what does this permit actually allow you to do today? Is it still illegal for you to buy regular cannabis on the black market? Assuming so, is it that once you have obtained it you cannot be prosecuted for possessing or using it?

And how does "CBD" play into it? Does the permit specify a maximum THC level of the cannabis you are allowed to posses?
