UK International Transfers - Income method.

Recommended Posts

Lots of topics previously on this subject and whilst most agreed TransferWise was probably the cheapest method of transfer, there were issues of it being coded as FTT or International transfer for many, which mainly depending on your Thai bank of choice.

From tomorrow 18th June TW is increasing it base charge from £6.81 to £7.73.

Western Union now appear to offer the best transfer deal bank a/c to bank a/c.

The question is how that is coded, FTT , International transfer, or other.

Anyone use WU, bank to bank that can confirm?

All mine received via BAHTNET so as advised just requested a 12 month statement from BangkokBank head office which hopefully will show all international transfers in a form acceptable to immigration.

Incidentally first report of "leniency" being applied at Chiangmai, member had 6 months of  fund transfers from overseas.
