A family in Chiang Mai have told the media that they have had to sell the furniture to pay for the care of a relative who is still in a coma after five months.

6-month free trial Bang Wa-Tha Chang ferry service launched Monday

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Marine Department today (June 17th) launched a new route for passenger boat services, a trial run between Bang Wa (Khlong Phasi Charoen) and Tha Chang (Chao Phraya River).

Chon Buri ‘godfather’ Kamnan Poh succumbs to cancer

Somchai Khunpluem, better known as Kamnan Poh or the “godfather of Chon Buri” who brought prosperity and development to the eastern province but was sentenced to two jail terms, succumbed to cancer early Monday, his family said. He was 82.

Pickup truck kills 2 pedestrians in Plutaluang

SATTAHIP:--Two pedestrians died when they were hit by a pickup truck in Plutaluang.

 

Jitapa Korkerdboon, 55, died at the scene of the June 12 accident on Sukhumvit Road at the Monument Junction. Supatcharika Chaipala, 42, suffered critical injuries and died later at Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center.

Group seeks probe into Aswin over alleged  negligence leading to flooding in Bangkok
