Bangkok traffic police ordered to find ‘safe refuges' for motorists when roads flood

Traffic police from 88 police stations in Bangkok have been instructed to look for places where motorists can escape flooded roads and wait until the situation improves, a police source said.

BMA fines hotel after used condoms, toiletry items found in canal

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has imposed a Bt10,000 fine on a hotel in the Charansanitwongse area of the capital’s Bangkok Yai district for improperly disposing of used condoms and toiletry items.

Residential projects worth Bt147bn launched  in greater Bangkok from January to May

No animal cruelty at Phuket Zoo, say officials

PHUKET:-- Phuket wildlife officials have declared that Phuket Zoo has been cleared of any allegations of animal cruelty following an inspection of the aged tourism attraction today (June 17).

Police breakthrough after teen’s mystery death
