Ruk Siam News reported that a 35 year old Russian tourist was knocked down after midnight on Saturday near the bridge leading to the Bali Hai port in South Pattaya.

She was named as Anna Ksina.

A video showed a large crowd of bystanders watching as the victim was given CPR by Sawang Boriboon foundation staff before she was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Two Kuwaiti nationals were in Bangkok Pattaya and Pattaya Memorial hospitals with multiple fractures and other injuries.

The media said that they were part of a gang of ten Arabs on motorcycles racing around Pattaya.

Be-heading would be a fitting punishment for the Arabs responsible for the girls loss of life. The greed of Thais allows these BIG bikes to be hired by tourists who have little or no driving experience in Thailand.

Quite right .. Some of the big bikes for rent are missiles and hardly suited to the heavy traffic of Patt's even more so when they are rented by guys lacking the experience to ride them .. 100cc is enough for scooting around in Pattaya .. this is something the authorities need to look at .. Either limit the capacity of machines available for rent or make the renters ensure those who wish to rent these have the necessary license from their home country for one ..

Arab countries tend to have ‘domestic’ laws only. Breaking laws in some infidel country isn’t generally seen as a real problem or a genuine legal issue...especially crimes involving excessive use of alcohol and meaningless violence. Young people are often encouraged to keep the ‘home front’ pure and pious by going on holiday and doing their lawbreaking elsewhere.

Was in Pataya once and never again.

It is a pity that all foreigners are mixed in the same bag regarding their behavior.

Thais are developing much contempt towards us because of these guys.

Thus the negative media coverage, the hardened immigration rules etc..

No way to fix that, we have to leave this country.

Can you provide evidence to support the assertion in your last sentence please?

LISTEN. Arab males are Arab males, whatever country. I lived in the Gulf for 12 years and visited/did business for many before that. A large percentage are overgrown children with no sense of risk or responsibility. At least, as far as I know, they don't tend to bring their guns here.

I can still remember the Scottish engineer who told me it was a mistake to give Arabs cars when he had only just finished teaching them how to ride bicycles.

And Saudi Arabia have just given permission for women to drive.
