This makes more sense to me. The fee for the tax sticker depends on the type and age of your vehicle. Typically for a motorbike it is around 300-400 baht. For a car it starts at around 1,000 baht (engine up to 2,000cc), average price is about 2,000 baht (for example a Toyota Altis 1.8) but it can go up to 6 to 7,000 baht, for instance for a 4-door pick-up. My bike is 155 cc -so it will be 100 Baht As Kwasaki stated his was around 800Baht Maybe you only know folks with scooters. The details that I posted apply to all vehicles. It does not differentiate between 2 wheels or 4 wheels -or for that matter 3 wheels. It is just about cc's

I have a 800cc bike and the tax last year was 100 baht, which was also printed in my green book. I think Kwasaki doesn't understand the difference between tax and compulsary insurance and adds them together.

Neither book has anything printed on them about payment. Do post a jpeg of your book.

Your mixing up your taxation types. The tax associated when the vehicle is new is affected by cab type.I think that it is referred to a 'Excise Duty'. As you say 2 door pickup is a commercial vehicle -lower rate 4 door pickup is classed as a car -higher rate. My post relates to annual road tax
jackdd
23 minutes ago, Delight said: Do post a jpeg of your book. 100 baht tax for 800cc bike, no other entries yet because i just bought it new last year. Currently i don't have the green book of my scooter here which has more entries, but if you open your green book on page 16 you will see that it shows a 100 baht payment every year. Motorbikes are always 100 baht per year, the cc don't matter. If you ever transferred the province, owner, or stuff like this there will be entries for this as well, this list is not exclusively for tax payments. Of course there are only entries if the book was ever taken to the DLT. If somebody always pays tax in 7/11 the entries won't get updated until he has to take it to the DLT in the sixth year when he can't pay at 7/11 anymore. KhunBENQ
Surprised about some statements here. The OP shows the tax calculation for private cars and 4-door pickups which is based on displacement ("CC"). I see nothing wrong there. Tax goes down (deduct) with age as described until halved. 2-door pickups are different, constant tax over the years based on empty weight. Different table and not related to displacement. As far as I remember the formula from the OP does not apply to motorcycles. Of course tax payment (amount) is printed in the book. Much ado about nothing,

No change, 2-door taxed on empty weight. A typical 1500 kg vehicle is about 1000 Baht. One of the reasons for this chaotic discussion. It's the formula for cars and 4-door "pickups". It's been done to death in the forum over the years, I posted endlessly about it. Boring. Just looked at my Airblade tax disc whoops late again, ran out in March will pop down to test place in village and they sort it all for 540 baht.
