Udon Thani: Tricky old Chinese man arrested for conspiring with Thais in credit card fraud

Police from the RTP's economic crime suppression division (ECD) have announced the arrest of a 67 year old Chinese man who they say was conspiring with a Thai gang to commit credit card fraud.

Police called to a resort room near the beach and airport in Pathiu, Chumporn in Thailand's south found a 56 year old Italian man dead on the floor.

Qatar Airways is the world’s best airline in the 2019 Skytrax World Airline Awards. Last year’s winner Singapore Airlines, has been relegated to second place. Asian airlines have taken six of the top ten spots with Thai Airways, despite their local woes, just sneaking into the Top Ten.

One dead, one injured in Thalang collision, Phuket

A passenger has died while the driver of the car has sustained injuries following a collision with a pickup truck in Thalang. Thalang officials were notified of the incident at 10pm last night on Srisoonthorn road at the Bang Jo Intersection.

Army chief recommends listening to an old Thai song ‘Kilet Manoot’

According to an informed army source, Army Commander-in-Chief General Apirat Kongsompong has recommended that his aides and acquaintances listen to an old Thai song called “Kilet Manoot” or (Human Defilement) which, he said, fits the current political situation as politicians squabble over cabinet seats.

Ten students injured as construction materials fall on school
