Congratulations and yes, well deserved - this is possible the only airline in the region taking its dedication to customer service serious; professionally run and a nice change to the rest of the operators in the market. Dr Prasert managed to group an excellent management team around him and, together with focused and customer-oriented staff, resulted in this. Well done!

I see the Samui passengers are still getting fleeced.

Search Samui to BKK on July 8th.... price is 4,500 Baht.

Search BKK to Chiang Rai on July 8th ... price is 1,300 Baht

Chiang Rai is further to fly but less than 1/3rd of the cost ???

It's useless to complain. Since the Thai government allowed BA to develop Samui airport as a monopoly, the only way to protest the expense is to use Surat and the ferry. As to why BA were allowed the exclusivity in the first place, one couldn't possibly comment.
