kdefay
Does anyone know what happens when you apply for a work permit based on a Non-O multiple entry visa? I have had work permits on the standard Non-O extension of stay, but I may be changing to the multiple entry. I guess I am wondering if they will issue a 1-year work permit or if they only issue it based upon the three month stamp?
Isaanbiker
No worries! You can apply for a work permit once you're on a Non- O based on marriage and will get a one year extension, depending on the contract.
kdefay
Just want to be clear. I am specifically asking about the multiple entry which only gives three month stamps each time. Are you saying that labor office will still issue a 1-year visa for that as long as the company contract is for 1 year? This is not a teaching contract. This will be a work permit issued from our own company. Edited June 21, 2019 by kdefay
ubonjoe
The work permit will be issued for one year. Work permits are not tied to your permit to stay in the country.
