Damn,  Back home if a guy carried on like that,  the cops would have cuffed him and stuffed him.   Like after about 10 seconds of his antics.    The Thai cops seem to do things differently (I ain't saying they're bad or nothing,   just different.

Nope..

They would have cuffed him..

Put him in the cells..

Taken him to the magistrate and fined him for disturbing the peace..

Alternatively they would have offered him a glorious career in the army or the navy if Napoleon was up to mischief-as he usually was.

No he didn't, he fell off his bike and he fell onto a couple of bikes knocking over 2 with his big body. It's shown in the video.

Well had he not “fallen” From his bike, he would not have run into the parked bikes. Poor riding skills on any account. Poor behaviours displayed, as well as need to see a fitness coach and dietician. Thoroughly unacceptable behaviours.

Same difference really.

As he's your mate you can tell us how it finished up. Or is that on a need to know basis?

I'd also love to know what happens in Episode 2. Like watching a reality show mini series. Surely Thai Visa will update us with the latest news. Charged? Fined? Released?

Sorry to say he is a fellow countryman, slap him in the clink for a week or two, with some attitude adjustments.

Mate, he fell off his bike and knocked over 2 bikes, probably little or no damage done and then he argued with the police. No proof so far that he was pissed. Overnight accommodation and a fine for being a goose should be enough. Plus the cost of the imaginary damage to the bikes.

Attitude adjustment, referral to fitness coach, elocutions lessons, seem reasonable.

You've been doing a good job of backing up your mate so far. But the above could be construed as you saying he's an obnoxious prick normally. Which obviously he's not, just had a bad day ????

Normally a great bloke. Never seen him do anything like this before. A f**ken bad day and he was acting like a complete goose but some of the comments to jail him, deport him and RTP should have shot him? If you've never been pissed made a goose of yourself during your lifetime you've lived a boring life. Let he who is without sin etc....

Yes I understand you try to defend your friend. but people have been reporting this is not the first time, some guys just can't handle too much alcohol.  Maybe lesson learnt, but I would not be surprised he'll be back in the headlines another day.

You may recall a story of an English guy stepping on a note dropped by a Thai in a supermarket, which he then picked up and pocketed. Sadly for him he was caught on CCTV and made to look a right plonker. The comments and punishment for this stupidity delivered by the TV judge and jury were pretty similar, maybe worse.  I saw his crime as lesser, drunk driving and abusing officialdom is no way to behave when a guest. Remember anyone found guilty of a crime in Thailand can be deported and barred for life. Learn to behave oneself and not be an aggressive bully.

He offer only 50 baht to fix the bike. Refuse to pay more. Less than one beer. Then hit someone.

If he just pay the fair price at the start he have no problem. No problem. But he argue. Big guy want to fight. But he lose.

som nam naa.

So he must be a typical TV member then?

Not wanting to pay 50baht to avoid a sหitstorm!

He is probably on here defending himself now and sayin it was his mate.

Why not do both Thais and farang a big favour and just exit stage left..

(via an international airport).

What an absolute dosser.
