Did you think I hadn't noticed or that it made any difference to my point?

You didn't present a point of your own, you posted an off topic 6 minute video.

It was nothing more than a tactful request to stick to the forum rules we've all signed up to and are supposed to abide by.

You have my complete support and encouragement to stick to the forum rules.

I'm right alongside you on that one.

Seems like any excuse to smear to most of us level-headed people.

The person who reported this incident may well have had good / caring intentions, but the fact that they reported it to the Guardian (possibly maong other publications) and that they knew very well who the person next door was and the effect it could potentially have on their career - and couple these things with the fact that the person raising the alarm is reportedly a self confessed staunch remainer - and it then seems likely that it was intended to both smear BJ and earn the person in question a few quid. I wonder however, if the same person had lived next door to Corbyn, Clegg or Caroline Lucas whether they would have made the same call, or, just turned up their TV?

Also, suggesting that someone who has a domestic is incapable of performing stately duties or most other kind of duties for that matter, is ludicrous. Standards are well and good, but they should be achievable standards, and not allowing a potential future PM to raise their voice to their partner in the privacy of their own home is a ridiculously high one, moreover it's none of anyone's business, unless someone was injured in the 'incident' which was not the case. The police were happy to leave it alone on site, that should be enough to draw a line under it. Attempts to cultivate this non-story into something more are so transparently a smear tactic - something the neoliberal lefties specialise in after all. 🙄

There's a big difference between suggesting that a person who has a 'domestic' is unfit to perform stately duties and questioning the judgement and behaviour of a man who is on the cusp of becoming PM getting into a 'domestic' to which the Police are called - And yes I note the attempt the distract from the fact of Johnson's behaviour by blaming the person who  reported it.

However, there is no reasonable level-headed argument for not questioning the judgement and behaviour of Johnson wrt to this incident.

A handful of days to go to the PM job and he can't keep himself out of a 'domestic'.

It is entirely reasonable to question him on that level of poor judgement and ill advised behaviour.

It'll be less confusing if you reply to the correct post.

The fact that Boris has maneuvered himself into this situation through his uncontrolled behavior shows that he is inappropriate as a PM. He should have anticipated what consequences would arise for him publicly. Before he positions himself as PM, he should first fix his private situation.

How do you know Boris "maneuvered himself into this situation" were you there? Could it have been his girlfriend that threw a strop or more likely the nasty left wing remainers who voted remain actually heard more than actually happened.

Could it be that remainers have nothing better to do than to crusify someone for allegedly spilling wine over some furniture (colour of wine and the value of the suite yet to be determined).

Could it be that remainers are making a mountain out of a molehill.

Luckely remainers havn't yet cottoned on to that Boris wore his socks inside out at a Tory hustings or he could have been named as public enemy number 1.
