ubonjoe
I have read before it is possible to arrange for a consular officer to travel to your home (or a hospital) to do a affidavit if you are unable to travel. But you have to pay for their expenses and by the hour ($200 is what I can recall) for the service. Best to contact the ACS about it to find out what can be done now.
