eyecatcher
I suppose its long overdue and we have all sat there drinking beers and discussing the state of the overhead spaghetti. Well it seems all that potentially dangerous mess is now being addressed. I was at the PEA today and spent a few minutes trying to absorb the proposals which are very ambitious. Pretty much all cables and major power lines will be subterranean with if i understand correctly a 3 line highway of power cables running each side of the moat and then several crossing the old city. The highest 22kv cables will run down the middle of the road, then a sub cable footpath side, then individual property supplies fed from what appear to be 1m high kerbside bollards. As I see it there will be a few very high columns but I reckon they are just transition feeders from the rest of the crappy network. I dont read Thai but I could work out that its starting 2560 completing 2564. Here are some of the photos showing their before and after dream. Is that just the best news you have heard today.....? canuckamuck
Since it is 2562 already, it should be half done by now.

Trujillo
So instead of flying pigs, here we have subterranean burrowing pigs. ...
