BANGKOK, 26 June 2019(NNT) - Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan confirmed that Pol. Lt. Gen. Surachate Hakparn cannot return to the Royal Thai Police and that he had earlier been ordered to become a member of a subcommittee under the Police Committee. The deputy premier confirmed that more land title deeds are being handed back to those indebted to informal money lenders.

Gen. Prawit dismissed allegations made by Atchariya Ruangrattanaphong, president of the Criminal Victims Assistance Club, that the villagers who may have been indebted to informal loans were outnumbered by the land title deeds handed out to them. The deputy premier said complaints could be filed and legal action could be taken against anyone who might have performed a misdemeanor with land title deeds. He said he would definitely be presiding over the handing out of land title deeds in Lopburi province tomorrow.

Meanwhile, he said, Pol. Lt. Gen. Surachate had earlier been appointed a member of a subcommittee under the Police Committee and that was considered an internal affair. National Police Commissioner General Pol. Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda and Deputy National Police Commissioner General Pol. Gen. Virachai Songmetta will clarify the matter. Gen. Prawit denied speculation that Pol. Lt. Gen. Surachate might return to the Royal Thai Police, simply because he had been named a member of the subcommittee under the Police Committee.

He declined to respond to comments earlier made by Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam that Pol. Lt. Gen. Surachate might possibly return to the Royal Thai Police if given a normal order after the National Council for Peace and Order has been declared defunct.

I see Old Fatty is behind the times. Has no one told him the show election's been over for a couple of months already?
This attempt at PR he's trying to belt out is a waist of time.
