Daily News reported several locations and movements as film production crews working on "The Fast and the Furious 9" prepared to start filming in Krabi in southern Thailand. On Sunday the media reported the movement of crews, sets and dozens of racing cars from a depot in Krabi town to a palm oil plantation by a cement quarry at Ban Nai Sa in Khao Thong sub-district of Muang Krabi. Filming was due to start today in the palm oil plantation that had adapted twisting roads and a huge earth mound. Later up until the 6th of July filming would take place at the temple of Wat Nai Sa in Khao Thong. Locals there had provided excellent assistance to the Hollywood crew, said Daily News. After this the crew will move on to Phangnga where filming will take place at a mill in the Ban Bang Toei area of Thai Meuang. Filming on the blockbuster is expected to continue until July 27th and include locations in Surat Thani and Phuket. Sydebolle Posted July 2, 2019 Share Posted July 2, 2019 Wondering if the censors had a look at the script; many movies were finally done (and lots of money spent) in neighbouring Malaysia, Cambodia or the Philippines because those dinosaurs found the script not befitting the clean Thai mind.
