Cantaloupe flower sexing?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I need some help sexing cantaloupe flowers, I suspect so far my flowers are all male, but I can't find good reference pictures online. Can anyone help? These are indoor plants so I'll need to manually pollinate them.

The clue is in the flower stem.

Males will have a thin elongated stem while females will have a shorter stem that ls slightly swollen with what will become the cantaloupe if the flower is pollinated.

best regards
