Where to get quality e-bikes in Thailand?

Ahh i am also on that journey.

So what i found out is there's 60-80% import duties on bikes with battery, so that sucks hard obviously, Thailand prefers us to ruin the air a bit more using a scooter or car.

Didn't find any good brand here that has ebikes no Scott, Merida, Giant, Cannondale ebikes... not even talking about stuff like Specilized.

This TREK is the only proper brand i found here so far as an ebike. Price is accordingly to the import duty, which sucks of course.

It's 5k USD approx in the real world, here its 280k THB (9100 USD)...

These are more affordable but thai brands...

alternatively conversion kit here: https://www.facebook.com/bkkebike/

Putting that on a decent Mountainbike or flying to Taiwan and get a proper Merida

Update - just ordered 2 mountain bikes and Chinese e-kits at CH. Numchai Thepprasit Rd. Pattaya, the owner speaks good English, already, has built many e-bikes already and provides very good service

ordered 750 Watt/10Ah crank motor (set 36k) good for 40-45km/h and 50-70km range for me and 500 Watt(34k) for the wife

trek (21k) and gt bikes (10k) going to be converted - so total invest 100k for 2 bikes
