Extension of stay with NON O Visa

Recommended Posts

Dear experts.

I have tried to get a NON imm O-A visa in the Netherlands but it is nearly impossible to find a doctor who will sign the medical certificate what is needed to approve the visa. My family dokter will not do it, has no tools to analyse. The Travel Clinic in Nijmegen ( connected to medival university) only able to do the TBC check and Syfilis. The medical university of Leiden, specialist in foreign infectious diseases, also not able to do all deseases. So I stop with it.

I only need to stay for 114 days in Thailand, but need a "proof of residence" to get a bank account and drivers license.

Is it possible to apply for a multiple entry NON imm. O visa and make an extension for 30 or 60 days? But without the financial burden to put 800K in the bank or send monthly 65K?

I do not have time to spend time in Bangkok and have to deal with immigration in Chaiyaphum. Also avoid a border visit, but is possible.

Please advise me?

On what basis would you be applying for the non-o visa for.

If married to a Thai you can get a 60 day extension to visit your wife of the 90 day entry from a single or multiple entry non-o visa.

You might find it easier to get the non-o based upon marriage.

You can still get the 60 day to visit your wife with either reason for the visa.

Which certificate (merrie)I have to show the Dutch one or the one that is made by the amphoe were she still is on the house book of her sister?

For the non-o visa application you could use either one. But they might want the Dutch one translated.

For the extension the marriage certificate issued here by the Amphoe when your registered your marriage.
