stament
Quick one, if you get married in TH is it automatically registered with the local Amphur, i.e. Chiang Mai in my case or so you need to do this separately yourself? Hoping the former but this is TH!
The Fat Controller
You can ONLY get officially married at an amphur office and they register it on the national system there and then. Any other type of marriage ceremony is not valid.
fishtank
As said, you get married at the Amphur.
ubonjoe
You both have to go to a Amphoe to register your marriage. You will need a affirmation of permit to marry from your embassy to do it. Moved to this forum Marriage and divorce .

Did all that but was 11 years ago and have been to CM Amphur on a number of occasions over the years so guess we must have registered it as I have the certificate with stamps and the English translation. Thanks all memory going
