Yinn Posted July 7, 2019 Share Posted July 7, 2019 Hello. today my gang go to Longlair market in Phangnga Is about 15 minutes from Khok Kloi on the road go to Phangnga Town Free for foreigner to go. Have the local delicious product. Best thing is that have no plastic waste!!! The food serve in banana leaf, or cardboard container, even the soup. Paper straws, drinks in bamboo. No foam!! For the plastic forks etc, have the Waste Station so it get recycled. The food waste make the compost. Food is fresh and good, local durian, local seafood, local snacks. Is under the shade of a palm plantation, so nice and cool. Mountain all around. Fresh air. The stalls are made with leaf. Have music also. No alcohol, good for the family. It open every Sunday. Got one near us in Chumphon - https://chumphonplaces.blogspot.com/2017/03/market-under-trees-and-nearby-viewpoint.html Not 100% convinced that Bamboo cups are the answer! We have a lot of bamboo. 55555 if you put it the ground the worm eat it. But the worm don’t eat the plastic. if I go to Chumphon, I will go look there. Thankyou.
