The chief of the Pattaya police announced the arrest of three men who had been supplying tourists with Ya Ba and Ice.

Pol Col Prawit Chorseng and drugs suppression officers displayed a large amount of evidence. There was 832.9 grams of ice and 6,700 "WY" stamped Ya Ba pills.

A car and two motorcycles were also seized.

The arrested men were Thada "Noff" Kammonman, 29, Nopphaphon "Tight" Janthakhot, 23 and Kantaphat "Golf" Santinarasak, 35.

They were all charged with possession of Class 1 drugs with intent to sell.

Based in Bangkok they had supplied drugs to tourists in Pattaya, said Daily News calling them ther "Bangkok-Pattaya Gang".

A sting on Viphavadee - Rangsit road first netted "Noff" with 85.7 grams of ice. This arrest led to the Indy Market in Suksawat Road where "Tight" was nabbed with 204 grams of ice.

Then in a room during a search "Golf" was found to be in possession of the rest of the evidence.

"Golf" had previous convictions for drug dealing in both 2006 and 2012.

But the main question is....were these three drug dealers overcharging the tourists and damaging the image of Thailand as a world class tourist destination?

Well clearly his time inside or what ever 'punishment' he received previously was ineffective. Thailand was a much better place not so many years ago when they used to execute this scum.

with the money that's available because it's all illegal even the mass murderer Duterte can't slow it down..

and of course.. only tourists.????

Everybody knows that thai people, especially night workers, never have heard about Ya Ba.????

So why it's called yaba if it is only for tourists.

What possible difference does it make who their customers were?

I'm afraid that their arrest has something to do with the foreigner who got caught with almost one kg of Ja ice two days ago.

Thais are usually selling their stuff to Thais, considering the arrested couple, it's pretty easy to do the math.

If the cops try, it's for sure from the same laboratory.

Why are we again the bad guys?

Nobody sold anything to me.

Killing drug dealers has never really helped. Exactly the opposite. Look at Thaksin's war on drugs and what has happened.

Each dealer is easily replaced by somebody else. The people, the addicts who are suffering are those who're already in deep <deleted>. They have to pay more and more for their drug of choice.

And if you like to go to prostitutes, do not wonder why you've got to pay more now to have short time fun.

What would the world do with all the DEA agents and other drug enforcement agencies when drugs were legal?

And when is somebody considered to be a dealer? What about the dealers in white?

Doctors who make hundreds of thousands hooked up on Codeine, Benzos and other hard drugs?

All the youngsters who had to die in the States just because some doctors prescribed a drug that's highly addictive. Are they not dealers with a much better salary?

I think it's not as easy as some might think.

Nowhere does it say that the tourists were exclusively foreigners. Pattaya has as many Thais from Bangkok and elsewhere visiting as foreigners on an average weekend. The Thai word for "tourists" does not specify origin.

Be fair, with the average buffalo in the bars raising 20 KG and 20 years, you need something to dull the senses
