Just move to another part of the Ukraine, you will be safe there.

.... or get a Thai-Retirement Visa and park 800k Baht in a Thai-Bank. Currently there are over 200'000 Asylum-seekers in Thailand. They prefer to be called "Expats".

Hi, I'm living in Donbass, in Ukraine, it's hot here, the war is going very closely to my home. Can I come as a refugee to Thailand and what I have to do about it?

No, you can't.  You can't come to another country just because you don't like the one you're in!

No, you cannot cherry pick your country of choice if you feel you need to seek asylum.

A genuine asylum seeker should do so in the first safe country after fleeing their home country.

No country, adhering to the UN Convention on refugees, will grant asylum because their home country is too hot or there’s fighting nearby.
