AS I typed that last sentence it appears to have resumed full power! I presume it was Island wide as the only postings in this forum were from outsiders. Anyone know what happened? Well we did have the horrible bombing a few years back. But that is it. It may have been very localized. Maybe a transformer blew up in your hood. You did have the granny kicking and the fetuses in the garbage truck. Transformers blow up all the time and are usually fixed relatively quickly. This wasn't that. Night before last power down for a few hours, a large tree on Soi 10 blew down and knocked down 3-4 poles onto the street. The orange truck guys were on it quick.
