sdieux1
Hi, I am applying for a 30 day extension to the tourist visa for myself and my son and partner. Do we all have to go to the immigration office together (my son is still under 5), or can one of us bring all of our applications and apply on behalf of our family for all three visa extensions? Also, a previous post (from 2014) said that children under 15 do not need to extend their visas. Is this still the case? Thank you!!
jackdd
You have to apply in person, so all of you have to go. Under 15 will not be fined for an overstay, so technically you could just let him overstay, but if you want to do it 100% legal he should also get an extension

Is this still the case? No, although many IO’s will tell you that. We all require permission to stay regardless of age, but as it stands under 15’s are not prosecuted for overstays.
