If they leave home every morning with a full charge, like you do with your cell phone, they can drive all over the city with no problems. If they need to go farther, there are dozens of high power chargers around the city already, and more are on the way. Even here in Hua Hin, the PEA office has CCS and CHAdeMO fast DC chargers, the Holiday Inn has CCS and there are quite a few Type 2 AC chargers around. This "I can't find electricity" argument really has to die.

Just have to wait until there is a standard charging system like there is a standard gasoline filler nozzle. Otherwise charging point providers have to decide which one or have more than one? Nissan is easy. Every dealer should have at least one minimum. Next is to get the charging time down to a decent lunch? Stop for lunch and recharge. Megascott
Over 3 million baht? really? When is Trump going to have a trade war with Thailand to get them to lower their import duties? it's insanity.

According to the guy in the video, it's B1.99 million in Thailand.

madhav
Meanwhile in other countries the government will actually pay you to buy an EV, however here is the complete opposite, you have to pay a ridiculous amount of tax. The MG ZS ev is much better value at 1.19 million baht. It was just released in the UK and as a result there are now a few english reviews online. General first impressions are quite positive for the price. In the UK the base model (after government subsidies) is only 825k baht!
Henryford
Why would anyone pay 2 million. It's 3 x the price of say a Mazda 2. There may be some charging sites around but it must still be a worry if you travel anyway.
