For some reason, this concept seems foreign to the USA. Maybe they can buy some smart vans from Thailand and hire some Thai immigrations officials to train them in their use. Just look at the documents and their status is clear. If they don’t have the documents, arrest and detain until clarified at the police station, where they also have a computer and maybe someone smart enough to operate it as well. The cops in Western countries Like Australia they having be using Laptops and gadget for more than 25 years .They drive on the Highway or other roads and put in you're Rego number and up comes Whatever you have done (or not)and if you got any Warrants /Tickets /fines /crimes/done drugs/or seen with the wrong people. Otherwise they would need a few 18 wheelers driving around in a caravan carrying the tons and tons of paperwork we farangs submit every year. However, I wouldn't doubt the van has a copying machine in the back so that once they start grilling a foreigner, who is no doubt a criminal, they can then make copies of all the foreigner's paperwork in triplicate and stamped with a box exactly 0.5 cm from the right margin and exactly 1.0 cm from the bottom margin that the foreigner must place they signature into, after which they can scan all said paper work along with photos taken on the spot, maybe even fingerprint, and place them into the computer. Once the van fills with new paperwork they can then return to home base to pick up some more blank paper. And on a good day, transport a bunch of criminal evil-doers to Immigration Detention Prison.
