Does he want a single or multiple entry non-o visa?

He could get a single entry non-o visa in Vientiane but will need a police clearance and medical certificate plus proof of his income.

There have been a few reports of a multiple entry being issued in Savannakhet. He would have to prove his 65k baht income and proof he is retired for a single or multiple entry non-o visa.

He just requires a single entry Non O, to get back on track with his extensions.

He currently has proof of 3 x 65K THB transfers to a Thai bank and a private pension statement/letter detailing his fortnightly pension payments to his Australian bank account. His savings are minimal.

I assume his private pension letter/statement would provide sufficient proof he is retired.

They should accept his proof of the 65K baht going into a bank and proof of his pension (also good for proof of retirement).

Not many recent reports of using the income proof since the embassy letters ended.

There is little information on the websites, other than financial proof required without stating what that proof entails.

'Should' isn't really an option in his case because of his dementia and health issues.

TI already sent him on a wild goose chase to Savannakhet to obtain a TV that they promised to convert to a Non O, but now requesting the impossible in addition to the normal requirements.
