ubonjoe
The 400k baht has to be in the bank for 2 months on the day you apply. Some offices are now wanting to see that it is still in the bank when you go back at the end of the 30 day under consideration period.

A much more helpful answer than the previous one
elviajero
It’s 2 months before the day you apply for the extension. It’s best to keep the 400K in you bank for the under-consideration period which will be at least 30 days. After that you can withdraw any or all of the money whenever you want, but you must have at least 400K back in the account for at least 2 months before you apply for the second and subsequent applications.
yankee99
can the immigration office have their own standard or am i misunderstanding this? this attachment came from Jomtien Immigration
ubonjoe
Just an apparent error in number 5 at the top of the page. Info in 5.2 has the correct info. Jomtien certainly does not want 3 months. That has been reported for many years.
