A policeman is in serious condition after hitting electrical power lines during a training exercise at a camp in Cha-Am on Friday.

A video clip widely shared on Thai social media featured a flash as about ten men descended from a plane.

Daily News said that the wind changed direction after the jump at 800 feet.

The man suffered stomach injuries and was transferred to the Police Hospital.

A man identified as Sophon Jaikhumkao on the video said that the victim's condition was improving after treatment.

He deserves both the “wings”’ and a T-shirt that says “I survived a high wire jump”

A true Thai hero. He’ll be awarded his ornamental jump wings adorned with the rare and highly coveted “Electrical Wire Cluster”. This will make him an overnight celebrity and the envy of his fellow law enforcement warriors. A man who richly deserves promotion at the earliest possible opportunity.

I feel for nearly anyone who has electrical burns.

Speedy recovery to the lad.

Yes, best wishes to him. From the photo he appears to be a bright spark.
