Short-Term Rental

Recommended Posts

Hey.

Been staying in northern Thailand, but want to escape this next smokey season. Where would be the best place to look for a rental online?
Know of Airbnb and Agoda, but hoping there might be another option with better pricing.

You have a choice also at Thaivisa "Koh Samui Property for Rent"...????

"Better pricing" you often find locally – if you are looking for a cheap/reasonable priced bungalow or villa – there are normally plenty available in the various areas. Posters, signs, and mouth-to-mouth often directs one to excellent places for rent at "better price".

Benefits from renting when here are, apart from "better pricing", that you can see the place for real, before you rent, and you can judge the area, if you are not already familiar with the island.

It's the way to do it and it works wherever one wishes to spend time.

Good day today so perhaps a story... of sorts.

Turn up AM, find a place to stay for a couple of nights and check in. Go out and find something to eat in a place that looks like it is run by a family. Start talking and judge their character upon ongoing responses and act accordingly. Granted there are a number of bad people in the world but they are far outnumbered by good. That being said, Samui is likely not the best place to cut one's teeth.

Maenam has a good name.
