Brightly
Hi all, Has anyone in town had an implant-supported overdenture procedure done? This procedure involves having 2+ (usually 4) permanent support posts implanted into the jawbone, which provides support and stability for a denture that securely snaps into the posts. It’s similar to a dental implant, but it involves supporting full or partial dentures vs. a single tooth. And unlike a dental implant, which is fixed, overdentures are designed to be removed for cleaning, etc. I think it’s a good option worth considering, but I’d love some feedback from anyone who’s gone this route: * Are you satisfied with satisfied with the end results? Would you do it again? * Any hidden pitfalls? * Dentist recommendations? * And of course...cost. Thanks in advance for any and all replies!
