webfact
Abandoned dogs must wait for a warrant before help arrives Picture: Daily News Daily News reported on the case of about 20 dogs that have been abandoned by their owner at a property in Songkhla in Thailand's far south. The renter of the property has just left them locked up. Some of the dogs have died and are being eaten by the starving others behind a locked gate. It is located in Kanchanawanit Soi 45 in Muang district. State and private sector officials have been hamstrung by the law in not being able to enter the property and fully help the dogs. The police have told "Baan Maa Yim" (the house of smiling dogs) that they must report the matter and wait for a search warrant to be issued by the court. That was expected to be issued today hopefully ending the ordeal of the dogs. Genmai
Every government official, cop, neighbor and gas stove salesman who's ever come to my house always slide open the gate and waltz right into the property. Sometimes they ring the bell before waltzing in regardless. Now that there's actual work involved they're citing the law. Interesting how that works. Maybe your property does not have cannabalistic dogs in the front porch ?
