I knew somebody who was accused of rape by a family member he was of an age where it had to be a lie, he was incontinent and unable to care for himself let alone commit rape. But once accused in the eyes of most you must be guilty. 

And I know an eighty year old who still enjoys the girls of Pattaya on a regular basis.  Some eighty year olds still having kids!  Age tends to be defined by a number but in reality it is more to do with lifestyle and how lucky you are health wise.  I certainly intend to still being enjoying the pleasures of the flesh when my age tops 80!

Seemingly OAP's are not safe around children and as his actions are deplorable he needs to have his bits removed and pickled and placed in a Jar in his cell to remind him of his sickening sordid acts! That may be true of you if you are an OAP (Old Aged Pensioner), but I suspect - LIKE ME - the vast majority of OAP's - both Male and Female are MORE than safe around children...

If if someone has proven themselves to be so extremely harmful to society remove them from society in a which does not financially burden society.

For the most part we [Western Foreigners] are treated individually based on our own merits or at the least with an equal indifference.

 

The ability of the Thai population in general not to judge us [foreigners] by the lowest common denominator is something I’ve always admired and been thankful for.

Until they knew he was in Thailand that would not have been necessary. It is possible he moved sufficient funds quickly on arriving, although doing well to get a bank account these days.
