Those are on special offer from a supermarket, I was talking about from the local confectioner  , whose going to travel to a supermarket , just to get mars bars cheaper ?

My UK chum bought an old camper van to tour Spain to look for a house, whilst he was there his sister in the UK rang, "You have a fine to pay"....."What fine"....

 

Here it is, and he still doesn't know why the fine, especially on Sidcup Road, nor do I......Anyhoo, my point is incidentals and the costs inflicted....

Added bit. When we 3 go out for a lunch the cost for that is around 130bht including drinks. That's about the same as a couple of coffees there.

I happen to know the latest prices and weather. I was there for 3 weeks, left on June the 10th. Went to the airport in a taxi with my Ski jacket and gloves so I know first hand what it's like there.

 

I will give you there is a much better western food selection with a lot of it cheaper than here but you will have to buy a lot of things just to make up for the 370+UK a month that it cost just to live there.

I dont actually eat  confectionery , (barring the odd can of diet coke and pack of crisps) , but I just noticed that the price of those has gone up three fold in the last ten years , probably mainly due to the new sugar tax

Bacon, 10 rashers of smoky bacon , proper bacon with minimal fat , less than 2 quid , 75 Baht . Thailand , 75 Baht for some lard with minimal meat
