You can find normal linseed oil at a few places, music stores, the stationary store just East of UN Irish pub, and probably several other places, but it will take forever to cure, unlike BLO with the additives in it. I suppose next best thing to feed your rattan would be teak oil which is available. Linseed is a really messy product, taking forever to dry and then just breaks down in UV light.
