REUTERS/Neil Hall LONDON (Reuters) - A majority of Britons believe Prime Minister Boris Johnson must take Britain out of the European Union "by any means", even if that involves suspending parliament, an opinion poll conducted for the Daily Telegraph said on Monday. Johnson has promised to lead Britain out of the EU on Oct. 31 regardless of whether he manages to secure an exit deal with Brussels, despite many in parliament being opposed to leaving without a deal. A ComRes opinion poll showed 54% of respondents said they agreed with the statement: "Boris (Johnson) needs to deliver Brexit by any means, including suspending parliament if necessary, in order to prevent MPs (Members of Parliament) from stopping it." Johnson is seeking a deal with the EU but has not ruled out suspending parliament to prevent lawmakers' attempts to block a no-deal exit. The poll showed 46% disagreed with the statement. The result was based on the answers of 1,645 respondents, after those who said they did not know their preference had been excluded. The same survey found support for the Conservative Party had risen by 6 percentage points to 31%, compared with 27% who said they would back the opposition Labour Party. That result was based on 1,783 responses. That finding is largely in line with other polls showing an increase in support for the Conservatives since Johnson took over from Theresa May, who formally quit last month having failed to deliver Brexit on schedule. Laughing Gravy
I don't believe in polls that survey less than 30,000 and even then they are potentially incorrect. Regardless of what the polls say the referendum result in 2016 should be followed. We have had over 3 years of parliament trying to reverse the result and keep the UK in the EU. We are out of the EU on 31st October 2019, then have a GE and get rid of those parasites like grieve and Cooper who just ignore their constituents plus others and have a cull of the political establishment, who are nothing but self serving. tebee
Terribly badly worded poll with a leading question - "Boris needs to deliver Brexit by any means, including suspending parliament if necessary, in order to prevent MPs from stopping it" Telegraphs interpretation of the results leads much to be desired too. A more neutrally worded poll - https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2019/06/11/brits-oppose-proroguing-parliament-force-through-n gives almost the opposite result. National priorities versus celebrity personalities is how I see British parliamentarians these days. Just when everyone is talking up unity, placing the UK's economic future first and working to get the best possible solution, we get this nonsense. Honestly, what on earth will a women-only 'war cabinet' manage to do that several hundred elected (and de-elected) MP's of all genders have not managed to do since Brexit was voted for? The Right Honorable Member of Parliament for Brighton Pavilion is typically cashing in on some misconception that being an elected MP is like getting an invitation to compete in Britain's Got Talent. At the same time, she's not doing her mildly resurgent Green Party any good.

Jonnapat
When things like this appear in ultra right wing newspapers like Johnson's Telegraph they should be taken with more than just a pinch of salt when most other polls give an entirety different result. To me this is sheer imperialistic propaganda designed to influence ahead of this horrendous act of stupidity.
