IIRC the contract for the burgundy passports expires in October this year, so the new blue ones will start being issued sometime soon after that, probably when the old stocks have been used. National priorities versus celebrity personalities is how I see British parliamentarians these days. Just when everyone is talking up unity, placing the UK's economic future first and working to get the best possible solution, we get this nonsense. Honestly, what on earth will a women-only 'war cabinet' manage to do that several hundred elected (and de-elected) MP's of all genders have not managed to do since Brexit was voted for? The Right Honorable Member of Parliament for Brighton Pavilion is typically cashing in on some misconception that being an elected MP is like getting an invitation to compete in Britain's Got Talent. At the same time, she's not doing her mildly resurgent Green Party any good.
