Sanook reported that a motorcyclist was killed at the same spot as another rider a while back who fell to his death and landed on a car outside a department store.

Pak Kret police and rescue services attended the scene on Rama IV bridge outbound on Sunday evening where they found 39 year old Santipong dead from head trauma and rib injuries.

He was from Sisaket and worked at a company in Lat Prao. His Honda Wave motorcycle was at the scene.

Siripong, 37, a car driver who witnessed the accident said that the rider lost control at the bend after overtaking a truck and trying to get back on the left side of the road.

The accident was in the exact spot where a student on a motorcycle was catapulted to his death onto the back of a car below the bridge, an accident that was a big story in the news.

History usually does repeat itself, problem is few learn from it.

RIP young lad

The problem is that the dead can't learn and too many of the living believe that accidents such as this only happen to other people.

it does not matter what we think. it is the spirits that control that part of the road who are calling the shots.

too fast on a scooter, no road sense /training more like , a trained  rider will know if you look at the piece of road in front instead of looking round the bend, that is where you wil end up, (its a mental thing),   that was not much of a  bend at all a 80 mph at least on a big bike ha ha, next time you see a photo of a bike racer you will see his eyes focused on the exit (or round) the corner, not what is in front of him.

Exactly, look where you are going, not where you are heading 😉
