Is the closure of your favorite bar or restaurant imminent?

Recommended Posts

Just passed the Made in Thailand bar area. Seems that more and more bars open. The were all closed until a couple of days ago.

The days of the tin roof beer bar were coming to an end.  The virus may be the final nail for them.

Nonsense.

Yes, landlord told them to not re-open until the 1st August.

Boxing Roo bar on 3rd road opposite soi Lengkee is closed and up for sale..."highest offer" the notice says

I suspect the vendor won't be impressed with the highest offer somehow.

MC Burger has re-opened in yet another location ... Soi 10, across from the Page 10 Hotel.

It was strange that they didn't open. Do you know the reason the landlord had?

Got the impression from posts that the bars made, that the Landlord would rather other areas were the guinea pigs.

This is not correct. Walked there today and almost all bars were open.

When the powers that be return to the real world, we'll probably see some improvement. Like, they're living on credit at the moment, so far as I can see, borrowing like crazy, that can't go on forever. Actual income earners, like the bars in Pattaya, will return.

At this time not since it was still early and they prepared for the night business. If I have time the next days I will go there in the evening and let you know.

Nonsense.

It's not nonsense.

The strata, that is, the air above a ground floor complex of beer bars, is now worth a lot of money.

What makes more money.  Soi Made in Thailand, or The Base, for example?

The days of old decrepit beer bars under a tin roof are coming to an end, especially at 85, 90, or 100 baht a beer, and with ridiculous lady drink and bar fine prices.
