The Thai met office has warned people in the upper regions of Thailand to expect more rain - heavy in places - in their latest forecast from 6 am today until 6 am tomorrow.

They warned of the potential for flooding and forest run-off.

They listed the north, central and east as areas that would face the most rain.

There would be only isolated light rain in the south.

Swells of 2 meters are expected in the Andaman Sea and 1-2 meters in the upper gulf.

Those putting to sea were warned to exercise caution.
