New regulations behind long queues as Sa Kaew border checkpoint bordering Cambodia

The 25-year-long row between the Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Co Ltd (BEM) and the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) has finally come to an end, with BEM agreeing to reduce the compensation it is demanding to Bt58.8 billion, which can be paid by extending its concession for operating expressways by 30 years.

1 year free visa for Chinese and Indian tourists to be proposed to cabinet

Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports will propose, to the economic cabinet meeting on Friday, a waiver of visa fees for tourists from China and India, who plan to stay in Thailand for not more than 15 days. It is proposed the waiver would start on November 1st and last for 12 months.

Air quality in southernmost part of Thailand improving
