webfact Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Samui Festival scheduled for next month BANGKOK (NNT) - Surat Thani province, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and a number of agencies, is set to present the annual Samui Festival for 2019. Surat Thani Governor Witchawut Jinto, today announced the official date of the event, which will be held from September 14-19, 2019 on Samui Island. During the period, the island will be filled with activities, parades, and concerts as well as fun events. Especially at Nathon pier where an Art Lane, Food Street, and OTOP Market, will be held from noon to midnight everyday, while at the same location from 8 p.m. to midnight there will be a cooking class and live music performances. Meanwhile, on September 15, at 5:30 am there will be a Samui Marathon Event as well as the Samui Trail, while at 6:30 am a Tour of Samui cycling event is to take place.
