I don’t think it is a surprise that 99% of tested samples for export are negative. As far as I know all arrivals at country of destination are tested again before being released. The problem are food products for local market as they escape random testing. We don’t want the pesticides but we also don’t want the fruits and vegetables as we knew them when we were kids. GMO would help a lot but unfortunately many countries still see this as a health threat.
