chaiyaphumcharlie
On Wednesday I completed the application process to renew my extension based on marriage. It was my first time renewing my stay in Jomtien after moving from Chaiyaphum. It took a few days to get all the right papers but we were finally successful. We were told to come back in a month. Yesterday afternoon we got a call from immigration that officers would come by the next morning for a house visit. We were told to provide a witness. The witness was to provide their ID and blue book. Three officers came by, took some photos and asked the witness how long she had known us. They asked me what I was doing in Thailand, then they left. They said they conducted around 20 visits a day. It was the 1st time my wife and I had a visit from immigration for our yearly renewal.(six extensions) Let’s hope everything works out.
Matzzon
I suppose it was just the regular check. Nothing much to worry about.
elviajero
It's a formality. Nothing to worry about. They have to visit x number of applicants and you got picked.
