Oceanaquamarine
I am a 45 year old South African woman. I came to Thailand on 30 day entry tourist visa, extended that for another 30 days. I then did a visa run to Laos, Savannakhet. I got a 90 day tourist visa. When I went through immigration, they stamped me for 60 days. Can I do another extension for 30 days or will I have to do another visa run? No one is able to give me a straight answer and I'm hoping you can assist

Matzzon
Just to go to your closest Immigration office and get your extension.
allane
In situations like this, walk in and ask them. The worst that can happen is that they will say no. If they do, then do a visa trip.
BritTim
There is no problem getting the 30-day extension of your current tourist entry. However, if you are planning on staying longer than that, start doing your planning on how you are going to handle the visa issues. Getting multiple tourist entries in countries bordering Thailand is becoming hard.

A single entry tourist visa gets you a 60 day entry, not 90. The additional 30 days is only available by getting an extension of your permission to stay at an immigration office in Thailand. I agree with. BritTim. If you're planning on staying long term, you will eventually hit a wall claiming to be a tourist.

SoonOh
Just ask your local immigration office. Do not wast your money on Agents! Chiang Mai immigration charged my friend 1600baht for missing TH30 + 1900Bhat for 30 days extension
