Don't believe these Thai statements however there is something up with this product, just happy I never used it for it doesn't appear to be as safe as everyone says..

The only thing that's up is the number of unwarranted scare stories based on ignorance, which has made you and many others believe there is 'something up'.  Possibly you also come from the US where there there is a witch hunt aimed at vaping.

An article in a local (Thai) newspaper reported, this morning, that there are 18,000 Thai Buddhists monks under medical treatment for smoking related health issues and that there is a push to discourage smoking amongst the ranks.

How does this relate to vaping?

Oddly enough, that campaign by the Truth Initiative, formerly American Legacy Foundation, is funded by...... big tobacco, as part of the settlement from a lawsuit by 47 US States.

Clearly the Government and tobacco industry do not want a reduction in Income and Revenue caused by the reduction in the addiction to the carcinogens (not nicotine!) in cigarettes through vaping and wish to perpetuate the addiction to cigarettes and the commensurate appalling death rate associated with it. Banning cigarettes completely would save 70000 lives a year.

Surely there were some studies done here in Thailand for the good doctor to make such a statement.

Or is he the same kind of doctor as the Vets at import station, who looks at Siamese cat and asks what breed is the cat or looks at pure bred bullmastiff but because papers say labrador he stamps her in as a labrador

Or could be one of those really skilled doctors who apply band aide to fix broken fingers

If they could legally vape than 18000 would not be sick or needed any treatment 🙂

Considering Thailand's low average IQ, I wouldn't worry too much about brain damage. Cancer, on the other hand, is obviously a real concern.
