I actually like my village Dr she checks my blood pressure for free and the other day I was looking for a specialist she took the time to find me on called them got me their office hours directions and put the link on my phone no charge and my Thai is almost non existent.

Imagine if they could use google maps that says next left or next right? That would be a real medical breakthrough

So does EMF, but no one's reporting on that.

Surely there were some studies done here in Thailand for the good doctor to make such a statement.

Or is he the same kind of doctor as the Vets at import station, who looks at Siamese cat and asks what breed is the cat or looks at pure bred bullmastiff but because papers say labrador he stamps her in as a labrador

Or could be one of those really skilled doctors who apply band aide to fix broken fingers

There are plenty of excellent doctors in Thailand.

None of them are civil servants though.

Absolute unadulterated rubbish, totally devoid of any truth or facts. For a start, Nicotine does NOT cause cancer. The Nicotine in an ecig is pharmsceutical grade nic, exactly the same priducymt from the same factories as used in "medical" patches, sprays, and gums, which are available over the counter with no sales restrictions in place. Even WHO has admitted its OK to use these "medical" products over a lifetime if the alternative is smoking as there is no known signuficant long term health consequences from their use over a lifetime. And note that pharma nic patch contains 30 times the amount of Nicotine than one cigarette stick. The tar and chemicals in cigarettes kill smokers. Not one person has ever died for inhaling vape from an ecig. Ever. Ecigs save lives. Tax them and let smokers have a life-saving choice <deleted>.

The only thing I've seen on e cigs is the vapor could cause pneumonia

I am all for banning these things. I do not want to breathe in someone else's vaping chemicals. There is no shortage of information out there on the dangers of these.  People ending up in coma, lung damage, illness...not to mention batteries blowing up in smokers face and disfiguring them. Doesn't take much common sense to imagine what the long term effects of inhaling these chemical concoctions will be. This is something Thailand has gotten right in banning them.
