Two British men wanted in the UK have been arrested in Pattaya.

On Tuesday, police announced the arrests of Luke Michael Timmins and Daniel Hilton Wood, both 28, from Plymouth in Devon.

Timmins, along with his Thai girlfriend, were arrested at a property in the Nongprue area of the city on 15 August, while Wood was arrested at an unspecified location nearby.

After searching the property, police discovered almost 5 grams of cocaine.

Following a urine test, Timmins and his girlfriend tested positive for cocaine and were charged possession of a category 2 drug.

Police also allege that Timmins, Wood and at least two other foreign men were involved in the supply of cocaine to foreigners in Pattaya.

According to Ruksiam News, Timmins’ girlfriend ran a property business in the city was allegedly used to launder money.

The arrests came after police in Thailand were contacted by the UK’s National Crime Agency.

Timmins, who served 20 months of a 40 month sentence for drug offences, fled to Thailand and in doing so failed to comply with the conditions of his release license.

Wood was also wanted in the UK for breach of his release license.

Timmins is believed to be the son of a millionaire drug dealer Michael Timmins, who has previously been jailed for importing mephedrone into the UK hidden in light fittings.

The pair are expected to be deported from Thailand in the coming days.
