Prayut calls on everybody to join the fight against plastic

Health officials demand justice as they stand to lose in long run

Some 100 health officials gathered outside the Public Health Ministry’s headquarters in Nonthaburi province to demand that their service during the fiscal years of 2000 to 2003 be included in calculating their pensions and that their salaries be adjusted so they are more equal and fair.

Cabinet rewards defectors and failed MP candidates with political posts

The cabinet on Tuesday agreed to reward 17 MPs, who defected from the parties they represented when elected, or had been on their party’s list, and have now joined the Palang Pracharat party, by granting them political appointments.

Traffic police cannot confiscate driver’s license under a new traffic law in effect from Aug 20th

Effective 20th August, traffic police have no authority to confiscate the driving license of the driver of an automobile or motorcycle when being stopped for a traffic violation under the new Land Traffic Act B.E. 2562.

TAT wants night-life establishments to close at 4 am to promote tourism

Easier fund outflows will help curb the baht, says central bank official
